How we work

Understanding and Anticipating Customer Problems and Opportunities

We start with the customer and work backward. We work purposefully to win and retain the customer’s trust. While we keep an eye on competitors, our main focus is on the customers. We solve the right problems with the right technology and strive to simplify and innovate.

Taking Ownership

We take ownership of what we do. We think long-term and do not sacrifice long-term goals for short-term gains. We act on behalf of everyone at Eviny, not just our own team.

Getting Things Right, But Proudly Admitting When We're Wrong

We have good instincts and sound judgment, making the right decisions by relying on the expertise of others. We seek multiple perspectives and actively work to challenge our own views.

Learning and Being Curious

We are never done learning and actively work to develop ourselves. We are curious about new opportunities and explore them.

Insisting on High Standards

We must always have a conscious awareness of what constitutes good quality. Things we need to live with over time should be built robustly. Problems are fixed when they arise, and they are fixed for good. Good infrastructure allows for experimentation and high speed. We continually raise the bar for ourselves.

Thinking Big

Thinking small is a self-fulfilling prophecy. We will set ambitious goals and prioritize tasks based on the principles of the three horizons. We dare to look ahead to create value for our customers.

Passion for Action

Speed matters in business. Many decisions and actions are reversible and do not require extensive evaluations. We value the ability to take calculated risks. We always have tasks ready to be done.

Frugality

We achieve a lot with little. Resource constraints breed resourcefulness, acceptance of good enough solutions, and innovation capability. We do not measure ourselves by the number of employees, the size of the budget, or fixed costs.

Building Trust

We listen attentively, are honest in our feedback, and treat others with respect. We are critical of ourselves, even in front of others. We do not believe in our own superiority, but we dare to compare ourselves with the best.

Having Backbone, Disagreeing, but Committing

We will respectfully challenge decisions we disagree with, even when it is uncomfortable. We do not give up simply because it is convenient; we do so because it is right. Once the discussion is over and the decision is made, we commit to solving the task and do not rehash it without new evidence.

Having Depth

We delve into things and have expertise. Broad knowledge is a type of depth knowledge in itself. We familiarize ourselves with issues, follow the data, and are particularly skeptical when anecdotes and data diverge.

We focus on ensuring that what we do creates value and strive to deliver the right quality at the right time.
